National Trails Day is a nationwide celebration of trails every year on the first Saturday of June. This day encourages everyone to get outside and enjoy our nation's trails, whether by hiking, biking, or simply being out in nature. This year, National Trails Day falls on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

In Idaho, there are 10,000 miles of non-motorized trails open to the public for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. To celebrate National Trails Day and help support maintenance of these valuable non-motorized trails, you can purchase a $10 Trails Supporter sticker at Parks and Recreation offices and state parks across Idaho.
