james Petzke

James Petzke serves as a member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 21 in Meridian. He serves on the Appropriations (JFAC), Resources and Conservation, and Transportation committees. He has sponsored numerous pieces of pro sportsman/recreation legislation since assuming office in 2022.

Before running for office, Petzke started and ran multiple eCommerce companies. Most notably among them is Upland Optics, which sells sporting optics for hunters. He has Associate's and Bachelor's degrees from Boise State and a Master's in Finance from the Harvard Extension School. He spends his free time running and hunting on Idaho's public lands.
