Marty Boughton

Marty is a proud Idahoan whose life is deeply connected to the Gem State's incredible outdoor spaces. She grew up hiking in the Wood River Valley, spent her teenage years exploring the Boise foothills, and continues to cherish Idaho's abundant natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

As the Public Affairs Manager for Perpetua Resources, Marty is passionate about the company's commitment to responsible mining and environmental stewardship. She proudly advocates Perpetua’s mission of responsibly producing essential minerals vital to America’s energy independence and national security, while restoring the abandoned Stibnite Mining District.

Before joining Perpetua Resources, Marty served as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Jim Risch of Idaho in his Washington, D.C., office. She holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and Political Science from Texas Christian University.

Based in Boise, Marty can often be found camping near Stanley in the summer, skiing at Brundage during winter, or hiking the foothills just beyond her back door.
