With over 25 years in the fire service—including 12 unforgettable years fighting wildfires in the forests of our region—Rich has had the privilege of protecting both the people and places that make Idaho so special. From the frontlines of wildland firefighting to leadership roles focused on public safety, his journey has been driven by a deep love for service.

What fuels Rich most is the opportunity to support and strengthen the heart of Idaho—our tight-knit communities and our stunning natural landscapes. Rich believes that Idaho’s true magic lies in its people and its wild beauty. We must protect and cherish both, ensuring that the spirit of community and our connection to the outdoors stay strong.
